Autism & Neurodiversity Support

In‑person in Bedfordshire and online across the UK

Neurodiversity‑Affirming Support for Autistic Children, Teens & Adults

Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent individuals often face challenges related to sensory needs, communication, emotional regulation, and navigating environments that aren’t designed with neurodiversity in mind. I offer warm, respectful, and psychologically informed support for autistic children, young people, and adults, helping them understand their experiences and build strategies that work for their neurotype.

What I Can Help With

Support may include:

  • Sensory understanding and regulation

  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Communication and social interaction support

  • Identity exploration and self‑understanding

  • Masking, burnout, and overwhelm

  • School pressures, transitions, and academic stress

  • Executive function challenges

  • Post‑diagnosis adjustment for individuals and families

A Strengths‑Based, Affirming Approach

My work is grounded in neurodiversity‑affirming principles. I recognise that autistic and neurodivergent individuals have unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of processing the world. Therapy focuses on:

  • reducing stress and overwhelm

  • supporting sensory and emotional needs

  • building confidence and self‑advocacy

  • helping individuals thrive in environments that may not yet be fully inclusive

I adapt my approach to each person’s communication style, processing needs, and preferences.

Evidence‑Based Psychological Approaches

I draw from a range of therapeutic models to support autistic and neurodivergent individuals, including:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • DBT‑informed emotional regulation skills

  • Solution‑Focused Therapy

  • Mindfulness‑Based approaches

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Systemic and family‑informed interventions

All approaches are adapted to be neurodiversity‑affirming, sensory‑aware, and accessible.

Support for Parents & Families

Parents and caregivers often need guidance in understanding their child’s neurodivergent profile and supporting their emotional wellbeing. I offer parent sessions to help with:

  • sensory and emotional needs

  • behaviour and communication

  • routines and transitions

  • reducing family stress

  • school support and advocacy

  • strengthening connection and understanding

Therapy Intensives for Autism & Neurodiversity Support

Alongside weekly sessions, I offer Therapy Intensives — extended sessions (1.5+ hours) designed for deeper exploration and more focused support. Intensives can be especially helpful for:

  • sensory and emotional overwhelm

  • burnout or masking fatigue

  • school‑related stress or transitions

  • identity exploration

  • families seeking faster progress or more comprehensive guidance

Intensives are available in‑person in Bedfordshire and online across the UK.

In‑Person & Online Sessions

I offer face‑to‑face sessions in Bedfordshire and online support for autistic and neurodivergent individuals across the UK, providing flexible access to care in a way that suits your needs.

A Supportive Space for Neurodivergent Individuals

My aim is to create a safe, validating space where autistic and neurodivergent individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered. Together, we work towards emotional wellbeing, self‑understanding, and practical strategies that support everyday life.

I am a private psychologist based in Bedfordshire, offering in‑person and online therapy, psychological assessments, ADHD coaching, autism support, and evidence‑based mental health care for children, young people, adults, and families across the UK. I specialise in anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, OCD, executive function challenges, behaviour, school pressures, and neurodivergence. I also provide parenting support, family guidance, and relationship coaching for adults and parents navigating separation.

Sessions are warm, collaborative, and grounded in psychological expertise, with a focus on helping individuals and families create meaningful, sustainable change.
