Therapy for Children & Young People

In‑person in Bedfordshire and online across the UK

Warm, Evidence‑Based Support for Children & Teens

Children and young people often struggle to make sense of their emotions, behaviour, and experiences, especially when anxiety, low mood, school pressures, or neurodivergence are involved. I offer psychological assessments and therapy tailored to each child’s developmental stage, strengths, and needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based practice.

What I Can Help With

I support children and young people experiencing:

  • Anxiety, worries, and panic

  • Low mood and depression

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Behaviour challenges

  • School pressures, academic stress, and attendance issues

  • Friendship and social difficulties

  • Self‑esteem and confidence

  • Adjustment to life changes or family transitions

Specialist Support for Neurodivergent Children & Teens

I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent young people, including those with ADHD, autism, sensory differences, or executive function challenges. My approach is neurodiversity‑affirming, strengths‑based, and tailored to each young person’s unique profile. Therapy may include emotional regulation strategies, sensory‑informed approaches, and support with identity, masking, burnout, or school‑related stress.

Evidence‑Based Psychological Approaches

I draw from a range of therapeutic models to ensure each young person receives the right support for their needs. These may include:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • DBT‑informed skills

  • Solution‑Focused Therapy

  • Attachment‑Based interventions

  • Parenting interventions

  • Mindfulness‑Based Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Systemic and family‑informed approaches

I integrate the latest evidence‑based practices and adapt them to each child’s developmental stage, neurotype, and goals.

Working With Parents & Families

Parents play a vital role in supporting their child’s wellbeing. Where helpful, I offer parent sessions to:

  • understand your child’s emotional or behavioural needs

  • develop supportive routines and strategies

  • reduce family stress

  • strengthen communication and connection

  • liaise with school or other professionals (if appropriate)

Therapy Intensives for Children & Young People

Alongside weekly sessions, I offer Therapy Intensives, extended sessions (1.5+ hours) designed for deeper therapeutic work. Intensives can be especially helpful for:

  • children experiencing heightened anxiety or school difficulties

  • young people needing focused emotional regulation support

  • families wanting faster progress

  • situations where weekly sessions aren’t practical

Intensives are available in‑person in Bedfordshire and online across the UK.

In‑Person & Online Sessions

I offer face‑to‑face therapy in Bedfordshire and online sessions for children and young people across the UK, providing flexible access to support wherever you are.

A Safe, Supportive Space for Young People

My aim is to help children and teens feel understood, supported, and empowered, building emotional resilience, confidence, and practical skills that make a meaningful difference in daily life.

I am a private psychologist based in Bedfordshire, offering in‑person and online therapy, psychological assessments, ADHD coaching, autism support, and evidence‑based mental health care for children, young people, adults, and families across the UK. I specialise in anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, OCD, executive function challenges, behaviour, school pressures, and neurodivergence. I also provide parenting support, family guidance, and relationship coaching for adults and parents navigating separation.

Sessions are warm, collaborative, and grounded in psychological expertise, with a focus on helping individuals and families create meaningful, sustainable change.
